Granite

- Both beautiful and unique this natural stone comes in many shades and is very durable. The only downfall is setting any type of breakables down on the counter a little too hard, could leave you with many chipped plates or broken glasses.

Concrete-

- So versatile and flowing without any ugly seams. Concrete can be poured out and molded to create a one of a kind counter. It can also flow gracefully from a countertop and molded into a sink. Concrete comes in endless color choices but beware, concrete is very heavy and extra supports are often needed to hold it.

Recycled Glass-

Environmentally friendly recycled glass comes in an endless selection of unique colored glass that will brighten any kitchen. durable and scrath resistant, recycled glass is getting its due attention. Be prepared to pay it is beautiful, but not cheap

Tile-

Tiles come in both very large and small tiles and can now be applied right over your present countertop material. Beautiful and heat resistant and are less expensive than some of your other choices, in fact if you find a solid granite countertop too expensive you can substantially lower the cost by choosing a granite tile countertop instead. Tiles can be more difficult to clean because of their uneveness.
